Cancer Forums

Cancer forums involve discussions as well as sharing ideas and asking questions about cancer. The forums can be convened where people are asked to come and discuss or share experiences. Other forums can be done online where people sign up to become members and after which they share information, ideas and experiences online. There are forums that deal or discuss all types of cancer while there are those that deal with certain or specific types of cancer. For example there are forums that deal specifically with breast cancer while there are those that only deal with lung cancer.

There are also cancer forums that are solely for coping and support. People who attend these types of forums include cancer patients and their families. In such forums, people share experiences, coping strategies and the family members may discuss how well they should support the cancer patients.

Some online cancer forums provide links to official sites that have information on cancer. One has to sign up to become a member. After one becomes a member, he or she can interact online and even pose questions to cancer experts. There are also online forums where people can post a short memorial for relatives or people they know who have died of cancer.

Examples of cancer forums include prostate cancer forums, pancreatic cancer forums, stomach and esophageal cancer forums. Other examples include uterine and endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer as well as colon and rectal cancer forums.
