Candida Overgrowth And Your Childrens Health

When a child is born the gut should be basically an empty tube from top to bottom the first thing to enter the gut should be the mothers milk full of colestrom which builds the immune system, all the nutrients necessary to sustain life and growth, and good bacteria which build a healthy lining on the gut which filters nutrients.

If the mother is healthy the baby should develop well and if a healthy diet is continued a healthy child should continue to grow into a healthy adult however there are several factors that can greatly affect this process genetics which we have little control over, environment which is also hard to change apart from diet, and western medicine.

If a mother has Candida Overgrowth and breast feeds, candida can be passed on to the baby which means from the start the baby will not develop healthy gut linings and flora balance and this can lead to systemic candida overgrowth and poor nutrient absorption.

If a baby becomes ill antibiotics are regularly prescribed if these kill good bacteria and it is not replaced quickly the gut linings will also be damaged and systemic candida and poor nutrient absorption can also follow.

So here are two ways candida overgrowth can begin, once it takes hold the symptoms and diseases associated with candida overgrowth may develop asthma, allergies, skin problems, immunity problems, nervous system problems, weight problems, sugar regulation problems, hormonal problems (see candidahouse).
