Canmore-recreational Tourist DestinationAnother gorgeous town in Alberta, located in the Bow Valley with a permanent population is Canmore. Canmore is located on the east side of the world-famous Banff National Park. Canmore town lies where the Bow River passes trough and that is why the place was named Bow Valley. Because of the Three Sisters its mountain setting is noted. Canmore has a mild climate compared to most Canadian regions. Canmore's coldest day would be in January, with a very low humidity making it feel warmer than the thermometer indicates.
