Cast Iron Dutch Ovens With Legs

For anyone who loves one pot cooking then they know that the cast iron dutch ovens with legs are the only pot you ever need. The legs mean that it is perfect for camping and any outdoor cooking you wish to do.


The benefits of dutch ovens are not to be dismissed. Apart from being extremely durable they are so easy to use. They heat up slowly in the coals but once hot they stay so for hours. They are perfect for using when the fire is dying sown as the heat they get will take hours to dissipate. Using them is as simply as filling them up with whatever you wish to cook and adding it above the colas. You can also add coals on to the rimmed lid to make it more like a real oven.

Slow cooking really can't get better than this and the fact that they last for many generations makes them well worth the money. Made of thick cast iron they are indestructible and people who own them absolutely love them.

They are easy to clean but here is a tip to make it easier. After cooking be sure to empty the contents out and pour some water in once the pot has cooled slightly. Put back on the coals and allow to heat up. This will loosen any food that may have been stuck. It is then a very simple process of cleaning out with some mildly soapy water. This makes cleaning the cast iron dutch oven very easy indeed and is another reason why so many people love them.
