Catherine David graduated with an honours degree in Design from Auckland Varsity in 1992. In 2009 she graduated with a Masters in "Museums and Cultural Heritage" - a curating degree.

Catherine David started her NZ design career with a selection of soft furnishings and bed linen. A collection of this range has been backed up by the Auckland War Memorial Museum, New Zealand. Catherine David NZ Design Limited now designs and manufactures a variety of functional homeware products which are distributed throughout New Zealand and globally. The range covers a large number of materials and functions.

Catherine David lives in Auckland.

* Catherines brand - Catherine David Designs is still a NZ design leader with an expanding range of products which now include lamps, light fittings, tableware and stationery, always attention-grabbing in their originality and show.

* The shower curtain range won the New Zealand Home and Entertaining Award in 2005 for best lavatory design product.

* Catherine David has just lately finished post graduate studies achieving a Masters in a curating degree.

In her spare time Catherine David is concerned in the art of Icon writing with a Russian art teacher.
