Celtic Ring? What Is And Why Should I Pick Up One

Thousands of years ago, the Celts, a group of self-governing tribes distributed throughout what's now Europe, were highly developed craftsmen creating patterns of knots, & rings that inspired the creators of the modern jewellery of wedding rings. It was created in the 9th century in a monastery on the coast of Scotland, & has excellent pics of people & animals embellished with motifs of knots patterns, thus linking mediaeval Christianity with ancient Druidic culture.

In Western culture, there is a long & venerable tradition of artists who were inspired by motives based on knots. Celtic sketches were mostly popular during the Renaissance. Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo & Raphael studied & used knots in their work. In modern times, some of Picasso's early works are heavily influenced by knots patterns. There has always been a group of sculptors & artists who kept the flame burning with Celtic knots in jewellery & other artistic expressions.

For some people, the choice to have unique engagement rings, in this case a Celtic wedding ring is an expression of their deep desire to connect with their own genesis.
