40 years ago women loved chest hair and it signified the masculine look to have a lot of hair on your body. Today that is changing for some women. You typically do not hear about women who love chest hair unless they are over 50 or live in certain Asian countries. However, most women do not mind chest hair as much as you might think. Despite all the complaints, rantings, and ravings online about how much women hate chest hair, they are the minority when it comes to women. Most women do not mind chest hair in moderate amounts. Then there are the minorities on either side that love chest hair and hate chest hair. In general you should ask your girlfriend or wife before shaving your chest.
Women typically hate stubble on a man’s chest. Either you need to shave it every day or you need to let it grow out. The half way look just does not cut it. In addition, this can be almost painful if your chest happens to rub up against any part of her body. Women usually have softer skin than men so stubble can cause friction and discomfort.
Are there other options besides shaving? Yes, if you are tired of shaving your chest, you might consider getting laser hair treatments that have the potential to eliminate hair growth on your chest. You just need to make absolutely sure that you are not going to be dating a woman in the future that really likes chest hair. It would be extremely disappointed to have all your chest hair removed and then fall in love with someone who would prefer that you have chest hair.
Another possible option is hair removal cream. You do not have to use hair removal cream as often as you have to shave so it is a nice benefit away from having to maintain your chest every single day. It is generally cost effective and can even lessen or thin hair growth.
In general, you should not let insecurities or self-image come into play when deciding whether or not to remove your chest hair. In all honesty, the best thing to do is let your girlfriend decide which is going to turn her on the most.
