Chicago Gourmet Popcorn: Super Bowl Super Snack

The Super Bowl is here on February 7 and like every year, it means the actual game will play a secondary role to the real attraction happening: no, not the commercials -- the assortment of available snacks. So while you're watching the big game this year, why not kick off things with some Chicago gourmet popcorn?

Popcorn is as American as apple pie. And while baseball has generally been called "America's Favorite Pastime," it's clear that football's booming popularity has overtaken that moniker.

This year's game features two very talented teams, New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts, but don't let that distract you from the other battles going on. For instance, who holds the chip bowl, who makes the first drink-run, and who gets the coveted seat right in front-center of the 44-inch flat screen? In some households, these types of questions are bound to be decided as fiercely as the game itself.

When it comes to Chicago gourmet popcorn, there are some hard decisions to be made, as well. Do you opt for gourmet cheese popcorn or gourmet caramel popcorn? Or, if you're from Chicago -- we're sorry about the Bears, really -- do you go pick up Chicago gourmet popcorn from one of the "NUTS ON CLARK" locations or order it off the Internet? Yep, that's right: you can buy popcorn online. It's music to the already dilly-dallying football fan's ears.

Let's face it: only one team is going to be a winner come Sunday. It's the sad, unfortunate reality of competitive sports. However, if you make sure Chicago gourmet popcorn is on the snack table, everybody wins; just like when you played sports as a kid and nobody went home without a trophy. Ah, the good 'ol days.
