Choices To Make Affiliate Revenue With Your Blog - Affiliate Links Or Banner Ads

As you have built up your affiliate niche blogs with articles that are keyword rich and are getting search engine traffic in your niche it may be time to think about putting advertisements in your blog to increase your revenue and properly monetize your website.

This is an option many bloggers opt for instead having only affiliate products. To me its kind of like the person who is comfortable only having a steady base salary job vs. the more aggressive person who is willing to take on a lower salary to be able to reap the benefits of getting big commissions.

Some bloggers would just like to know that having banner advertisements in their blogs will give them a certain amount of revenue month in and month out. While other bloggers may opt for for affiliate marketing or maybe a combination of both.

Every niche is different so its up to you to test that out with your website visitors. You may be able to get away with having affiliate links along with your banners or you may need to stick with providing great content maintaining the amount of traffic your advertisers are paying you for.

Advertisers like to see a certain amount of monthly visitors and know that those visitors are clicking through a good amount of pages. Page views are important to them because that means your visitors are not just clicking off your website, they are actually spending time reading your pages increasing your page views and giving your site a more stickiness, thus having their advertisements more and more in front of your traffic.

With enough traffic and good search engine placement you will soon be able to rent out many spaces on your blogs making an easy steady income month in and month out. So now all you have to do is make sure you provide good content and promote your blog so you increase and or maintain your search engine rankings. If you are able to increase your page rank even better and will leverage your ability to charge more on a monthly basis.
