Choosing Home Speaker System
These days most systems include between seven and nine speakers. The core component of all home systems is a receiver. All of the other components will be connected to the receiver. It will also manage your dvd or television inputs. There are receivers that serve as DVD or Blu-ray players. The next three components are the front speakers. These speakers will be placed on the right, left and center of your audio setup. The fifth component is the subwoofer. Sub-woofers will deliver all of the base and will give that extra “thump” to the explosions and other loud noises that are present in most movies. The last components of a home audio system are the surrounding speakers. Depending on the system you choose, you might get two, three or even four of these speakers. These are the speakers that give your viewing and listening experience a truly immersive quality. Before you start shopping for a home audio system, you need to determine a general budget for yourself. Your budget will impact the brands you consider purchasing and how you buy your speaker system. If you want a truly high quality sound and experience, you might have to spend as much as $2.000. You will also probably want to purchase your speakers, receiver and Blu-ray player separately. This will allow you to get the best of all three parts. Even if you decide on budget from $1.000 to $2.000 you should be able to buy all those parts separately. You will be browsing through slightly less expensive brands though. If you budget is below $1.000, please consider buying the package that already contains all three of these components. It is possible to get better quality at very reasonable price by purchasing receiver with Blu-ray disks and combining it with affordable set of speakers. If you can afford top of the line speakers for your audio system, Aperion and KEF are two of the best brands you should consider. Boston Acoustics, Mirage and Energy make great quality products for middle class budget money. Finally, to get the best sound at the lowest price, you can't go wrong with Fluance. You can find some models as cheap as $200 or $300. Although Fluance makes cheap speakers, you get better quality than from other bargain brands. Hopefully this information made at least a little bit clearer on how to look and what to consider when buying home speaker system.
