Choosing Right Garmin Gpss

I am no good at choosing things at all. Today I am trying to decide between different Garmin GPS systems and I am being so indecisive. I firstly thought that the Garmin 396 was the best value for money and I decided that after readings some good reviews of it that I would go and buy that one. However, I stupidly decided to look at what else was available and saw some even better reviews of the Garmin 496 and so I started thinking that it might be a better option for me and looked a the specification and what sort of prices I could get it for and where from. That took me another few hours and I was torn then between the two. But then I saw the Garmin 296 which looked to me to be the best value for money as it had all the functions that I wanted but I found one at a really good price. However, I was then worried that it might not be such a good quality item, because it was cheaper in some places.


So I started looking frantically for reviews of it to find out what other people thought of it. I found it a job to tell whether the reviews that I was reading were unbiased as they all seemed really good. In the end I decided that I needed to ask the opinion of people that I knew and see if they had any experience of using any of the Garmin products. I spoke to several of my friends and they have different brands of UPS systems which they are not completely happy with.

They suggested that I make a list of the functions that I need and decide on my budget. Then I should be able to know which is best for me. I tried this and it help narrow down my search a little bit which was great. I then went into some shops and asked them which they thought would be the best for my needs and within my budget and they tended to agree with me on the several that I had selected. I then had to choose between them and in the end decided to do it on price as otherwise they all were very similar. So in the end I have made a decision and I think that I need to buy one quickly before I change my mind and start the choosing process all over again, but on the other hand there might be a better one out there for me....
