Bed and breakfast inns can be a charming addition to your honeymoon plans. When making your reservation, you will need to inquire about check-in and check-out times. Most B&B inns do not have a 24-hour check-in staff. Some inns have both shared baths and private baths. Most people prefer a private bathroom. Some allow pets or smoking, many do not.

If you have a more modest honeymoon budget, you can book a midweek package. With a local’s knowledge, they will tell you the best things about their area that you won’t see in the guidebooks. They will tell you what is overpriced and overcrowded in their area. They may even have coupons or discounts associated with restaurants, bars, museums, recreation and resorts.
