Christian Single Women: Tougher Time Looking For A Soul Mate

Having been unlucky in love for so long as a Christian single woman, I decided to take a new route to find love. As a dedicated follower of our Lord I always assumed I would be blessed with a husband and family from my local area. However, I have since learned that Christian single women need to look further afield. As a 35 year old single Christian woman, I decided to open my mind and take the plunge and embark on the internet journey to love. I was so shocked at the amount of registered single Christian women and at the same time this admittedly made me feel much better about myself. I spent a lot of time and thought on my profile and knowing that sounding desperate is an unattractive quality. I turned myself into an independent, confident, interesting, non desperate Christian single woman. Self sufficiency is attractive to most men but I decided to show I need passion and love in my life too! (Or I wouldn’t be on the site)

After a few introductions, I soon realized being a single woman is hard enough but Christian single women have a tougher time looking for a soul mate because of the deeper level of our personal relationships. As a Christian single woman, my faith is first and foremost when searching for a lifelong partner so I need a man who I am attracted to but with the same beliefs and values as me. As I have discovered our Christian faith covers so many religions. There is nothing wrong with having different Christian ideals or life purpose, but for a successful long term relationship we need to share our faith harmoniously every day.

However, I persevered with my registration and after a few disappointing dates and a few months of thinking about giving up I can now say I am no longer a single Christian woman. John and I have been together 1 year now and what started out as a friendship has now with natural progression developed into a loving Christian relationship. Our ideas are similar and we are both passionate about cruelty to animals, which we now campaign together for. Our love of our Lord is stronger together which we celebrate every day and by praying together our relationship has become more intimate. So all you single Christian women out there looking for love do not despair. Try a new journey to love and meet some wonderful fellow Christians to share your faith with en route. God will guide you!
