Clinton - This Is 'my Final Community Position'

Those who had hoped Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would become the first female United States president might have reason for disappointment, reports Columbia Broadcasting System News. Secretary Clinton said she's seen how the position of president turns the hair white, so 2012 isn't an option. What is the biggest letdown to many is that Clinton has said that her secretary of state placement will be "my last community position".
Secretary of defense position handed to Clinton
Some wanted Hillary to become the next Secretary of Defense, since Robert Gates is retiring next year. Also, it was interesting that Clinton had been out of the country throughout the mid-term elections when the democrats lost the house to the republicans. That look unlikely though because Clinton announced that her current position of secretary of state is, "my last public position."
There has been no indication the recent WikiLeaks embarrassment to the President Obama administration (and Secretary Clinton's office in specific) factored into her decision.

Hilary intends to continue work with her husband, former president Bill Clinton and also the Clinton foundation after she retires. Her words are that she wants to "continue working to enhance lives for others." Clinton explained that advocacy work for women and children globally appeals to her. Reuters reports that Clinton says she had a "fascinating and rewarding" career before politics as a lawyer for the Children's Defense Fund, which assists abused and neglected children. It is speculated that she will return to that type of a field after politics.
"I feel very lucky because of my parents, my education and the opportunities I've had," Clinton said.
