Clothing Are A Statement Of Personality. What Is Yours?
What do your clothes say about you? Whether we are aware of it or not our clothes generally make a statement about who we are and how we think. You may be very conscious of the environment and chose clothes that make the smallest impact possible in their making. If you are content with nature's bounty, you may choose organic clothing such as pure cotton or silk and wool - or even the newer soy and bamboo products.
Oddly enough, a quiet person may make a statement by wearing bold, brightly coloured clothing. If so, then they are saying, "Hey notice me!" But a person who is genuinely shy would not dream of wearing any but the palest colours and most ordinary styles. People who are not confident often become slaves to fashion, while a person who is comfortable with themselves will wear whatever they like, fashionable or not.
Of course, our clothing also needs to fit in with our occupations. Construction workers need tough clothing that can stand up to daily wear and tear. But this often carries over into their leisure time with no-nonsense basic leisurewear. But the high-flying business executive who is used to good suits will rarely be found in a pair of stubbies and navy singlet during his holidays.
