Common But Fun Baby Shower Games

One common game is naming baby food. What you will need on this activity is a couple of empty packs or containers of food that babies eat. Cover the name of the brand of the food or product. Then, have some guests of the party guess the name of the brand by calling names randomly. If they answer correctly, they win the game.
Another variation to the "name infant food" activity is this: have the real food on a container and put no labels on it. Pass the food around and let the guest taste it. The guest who can name the food correctly wins. You have to ask the name of food and the flavor too if it has any flavoring. Prepare many types of foods especially those that are rarely used so that it will be challenging for the contest players.
The next common game that you can have is "popping balloons, naming baby items". You will need balloons in this game but inside the balloon will be a piece of paper with a name of any infant item. For example, on a red balloon you will put a paper inside before it is blown with the label "baby bottle". Have many balloons and put many names of infant items inside. Aside from the names, have the actual item and put it in a table for the guests to see.
What will happen now is that you need to group the guests by three. Then, instruct them to pop the balloon by sitting on them and get the piece of paper, find out what item it is and place it on the actual item. The group who can finish first and answer everything correctly wins the game. Be sure to have at least 5 items to name.
One more fun activity to have is "guessing infant's gender". Collect many infant pictures and make sure it is hard to tell their gender. Be sure to note the gender of the baby in the picture so you will not forget. Group the participants of the game and give each group a chance to answer once for every picture flashed to them. Give one points for the right answer and the group who has the highest points wins.
Aside from the baby shower games above, you will still get other ideas. If you get something that you feel is not very exciting, try to make some modifications to the mechanics and criteria.
