It’s an unfortunate truth that no one likes to hear. No matter how much you try, it’s nearly impossible to keep your community safe all the time. Just because you don’t live behind a white picket fence, and instead in an apartment building, does not mean you can’t see the same safety as a gated community. And people in gated communities or very suburban neighborhoods with lots of parks and public places for children to play outside also need to be extra weary as well, as those are very common stomping grounds for predators to hang out and target children and families in invasions and breaches in home security systems.
