Condo rentals are living spaces that are listed for rent by their owners or developers. In many places, buildings are built for the express purpose of housing people in units. The structures are commonly more than five levels and the divisions of the areas may differ in each level. The divisions are usually about 20 square meters or more and can house a couple or a couple with a child. Some are bigger than normal and can have two rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room while others are more boxlike in structure.

This is to ensure that there are no misunderstandings on the part of the vacationing party with regards to the state of the space. This is also an obligation on the part of the owner to represent the unit with as much accuracy as he or she can. Another familiar condition is the length of stay and the number of people who will be staying. The duration of the vacation is always stated in the agreement even if there is a clause that it can be extended. The number of people who can stay at the condo rentals are also closely monitored.

The utility bills are sometimes charged to the renter, especially if the stay is rather long. On the other hand, some more expensive units may allow the party renting the condominium a maximum amount. Other bills will also be included in the listing that will be shown to prospective renters. Some condo rentals may have a maintenance staff to overlook them. They can be contacted for any reason. The presence of the maintenance staff is more common for developed housing complexes within a resort rather than privately owned spaces. Some real estate firms or travel agencies may also extend the services of a cleaner or a chef.

Owners and developers want the guests to maintain the appearance and the condition of the living spaces. Any changes, damages or alterations may result in forfeiting the security deposit or additional charges on top of it. This usually happens if the structure of the unit is damaged or a perfectly running appliance might be destroyed. The conditions for these are included in the agreement, and the renter needs to read it well.
