Confessions Of A Shopaholic Network Marketer Revealed

THE PROBLEM STARTS


One night around 2am, I saw an informetial where Robert Kiyosaki was explaining the principles written in his famous book Rich Dad Poor Dad.

This commercial reminded me that I could never achieve wealth and happiness by working in a job that trades time for money, especially if I wasn’t passionate about it. That was the crucial point that made understand what to do next. I made a decision to start my own online business, and this is when my real struggle began.

I began to buy everything I thought could help me with my business, and spending a lot of money in e-courses, tools, e-books. I became an affiliate of some of these products that I bought and boom, I was flooded in all this information about how to sell all these affiliations that I was part of, everybody was telling me about the "Next Best Thing". I was lost and missing the most important thing: A PLAN.

Things were not working out as I wanted. I really wanted to quit my job to follow my dream of starting my own online business, but I wasn't doing too well in that department either. I was spending a lot more time and money than I expected, which is why I began to think that it would have been better just to work at my job.

I noticed there were 2 main reasons why I was going all over the net spending time and money unwisely .

Number one, the amount of information that you can find online is overpowering, and everything looks incredible and an excellent option for your business.

Number two, I got scared. I was so obsessive with the idea of being perfect and having results quickly that I started to buy and tried to apply everything I was learning in all these e-books, courses and webinars. In one word I became a Network Marketer shopaholic.

I was tired of working weekends and nights without seeing my family. I really desired that beautiful house, the incredible body and the time to be with my family. I wanted the freedom of doing what I loved. I was anxious for a way out, but all I was doing was buying the ideal, the promises, the dream.

GLORY AND RESURRECTION

It was time to go over my goals and values, and reconsider what I was doing. I looked at my life and my career, and saw what was good and I started to refocus.

After a few years of struggle , I finally came back to my true path. I CHANGED my mindset. I stopped the dependency of checking information on the net and stop wasting my time in NO MONEY MAKING ACTIVITIES.

I sat back; I took one step at the time, and started to apply what I have been learning. I stopped focusing on quick fix stuff and started working on my presence online. I changed my mindset from "what is there for me" to "how can I give value to you". I started from the beginning (the best place to start lol).

I came to a decision to choose one single strategy, learn it, apply it and share it. I understood that I had to stick to this strategy until I started to get results, regardless the time and effort I had to put into it. No matter what, every strategy would have their own challenges, I thought.

I wanted to be a true network marketer and to show others how they can do this as a rewarding career. This is my goal. This is my dream. That will be my outcome.

Once I understood my goal and the reason why I wanted it, my need of buying all these resources and e-books on impulse disappeared. These tools are very important, but only if you apply one strategy at a time.

I discovered how powerful the internet was and a way to pursue my passion at the same time. Now, here I am, developing my online business with the goal of helping you to live your life to its full potential of achieving genuine freedom online.
