Cooking Baby Carrots - An Introduction

Cooking baby carrots is close to the way the normal carrots are prepared. These types of carrots have several ways of preparing. Baby carrots can also be added to all your favorite dishes, stir fried as well as steamed. These carrots can also be used in several soups. After all these ingredients have been purchased you are ready to start the preparation of the baby carrots and this will require you to go through several steps and the first one is will be to choose your vegetable and this includes mushrooms, celery, radish, broccoli, green, yellow and orange bell peppers among other vegetables.

These vegetables should also be cut into bit sized pieces. For those people who are not familiar on how to cook carrots they should go through several carrot preparation methods. The first step in the preparation of baby carrots is placing a wok on medium heat and pouring some olive oil which will then be followed by saut?ing the freshly mined garlic. The finely chopped onions are the next ingredients to be added and they should also be saut?ed. The next step is to start adding the vegetables one by one and the carrots should be the first while broccoli should be added last.

You are supposed to be very careful with these vegetables so that you do not overcook them and lose all the rich color and crispness. You can then choose to add meat, poultry or shrimps and this will require you remove all the vegetables. This will include thin strips of beef or chicken pieces or you can also choose to add some shrimp. These should then be stir fried until it is almost done and before they are completely cooked you should then add the vegetables again.

The next thing to do is to add salt and pepper according to your taste and freshly ground pepper is the recommended type of pepper. The soya sauce should then be added followed by the oyster sauce. This mixture should be stirred well and left to cook for a couple of minutes. The dish should then be garnished with the hard boiled eggs. The bay carrots will now be ready to serve.
