Put on that aftershave or perfume and treat life as if it were back when you were just dating again and wanted to impress each other.

This is not an invitation to go all new age! It does mean you should take a look at your needs and desires again. Sometimes we become so wrapped up in our marriage we forget to follow up on our personal interests. People who are strong in their own beliefs and ideals are more attractive to others and more able to cope with bad situations. This may be the right time to take a slight step back and focus on yourself before you try to help your spouse and your relationship.
