Copy Writing, Online Network Marketing, And The Urge To Pull Your Hair Out.

About a year ago I came to the startling realization that most of my coaching students weren't getting their work done because they just didn't know what to write about on their websites, in their articles, and on their blogs.

It took some soul searching on my part to understand what had been happening. I had been watching my online network marketing students moan and groan and wonder why they weren't making any money yet, (and why they hadn't even generated one lead yet) but when I tried to help them go over their websites to help them tweak things I just learned that they hadn't written a single piece.

Now, imagine being in my shoes. I'd been giving these sweet, hungry people ideas for (sad to say) nearly a year, but they didn't take my ideas and spin them with their own experience and wisdom. I was baffled. But I don't stay baffled long, I'm a solution person so I just started asking questions, and then I started doing more coaching sessions directed completely at the writing of one article at a time.

Brilliant (if I do say so myself *wink*) the answer was clear now. I just needed to help people focus on their writing, and even though at first they spent a lot of time writing my words about their life experiences it was worth it because they got some content published and they were finally in circulation.

Leads started trickling in, people were happy, and not too long after that these students started earning money. (AT LAST!)

So I spent the next month or so deciding how I could possibly use my precious 10 hours per week to help my students and still get my own stuff done. (I'm a mom with 3 young kids and I only work 2 hours 5 days per week. I was getting spread thin and I had to do my own writing and lead generating too!)

I was also noticing that my students were starting to rely completely on me to write all of their stuff because they could, and I didn't give them any incentive to go out and use what they had learned in our coaching to be creative and step out there on their own.

So I created a coaching package: "Mrs. Dreamseed's Flying 50" and I charged for my time. (Something every coach ends up having to do to help their students get out there and spread their own wings so that they can take on their own little chicks. *wink*)

Writing articles really isn't that tough. I think mostly we struggle with our own confidence issues.

We're always looking out of our own eyes so we don't see that our talents are fantastic and unique to our cirle of influence - and that we actually have something to offer to the world!

I encourage you to do your own soul searching, and find your talents, but if you just can't then "The Flying 50" might just be for you. But just for a little while.

There's a group of chicks out there who want to get under YOUR wing! *wink*
