The colors we choose for our clothes play a very important part in our image. When you have a traditional career then the colors that you should use include red, navy, gray and black. These colors will look great either together or combined. You can find wonderful skirts, pantsuits or costumes. However, should stay away though from any items in hot pink or weird looking prints because they can be a bit risky in the office. Of course, when you wear them smartly you will surely be able to include them in your wardrobe also.

Jewelry is also very important. Of course, you don’t have to leave everything at home and simply forget about their existence, you merely have to adapt to the given situation. Chandelier earrings and stacks of bangles can be rather distracting so you shouldn’t wear them at work. Instead you should opt for stud earrings and single bracelets. This way you won’t make funny noises every time you walk down the hallway. For an organized image you should choose structured purses and not sloppy ones that will rest on your ankles.

It is also very important find clothes that are very well tailored. Your pants should fit but they shouldn’t be too tight, your skirts don’t have to be too short, so that you can comfortably sit down, the blouse shouldn’t have gaps between the buttonholes and so on. When you have no clue on what you should wear at the office then you can simply check out your bosses and see how they dress. Mimic their clothing ideas and you will be just fine. The culture of your organization is highly important this is why you have to carefully analyze how everyone is dressing. One thing is sure: you don’t have to look too sexy, too casual or too sloppy.
