Credit Crunch An Early Christmas Gift

There is a financial crunch worldwide, and everyone has got to tighten their belts. But with Christmas round the corner there is no way of telling the kids that they may not be getting presents this year, especially if a new bicycle or some other special Christmas Gift has been promised to a child. Christmas is going to come, and has to be celebrated - credit crunch or no credit crunch. The solution to this is to shop smart by first working out how much the budget to be spent at Christmas is. If its £500 or less, then start making a list of what is absolutely necessary to get for Christmas. If the house decorations, Christmas tree lights, and Santa Claus figurines are stored away from over the years then take them out and check them. If something is broken or damaged then see if it can be repaired. Don’t just throw it away and go shopping for a new one. There are certain Christmas items that one cannot avoid. Christmas decorations don’t have to be extravagant, and external decorations can be avoided. Save on the energy costs also by not lighting up the outside of the house, or by just lighting up the entrance.
