Cruise Season
Late spring and summer is not only most expensive time to cruise, but it is the only time to cruise to certain destinations. Alaska, Europe, Bermuda, and Canada do not offer winter cruises. So, you can not wait if you have your heart set on the beautiful pink beaches of Bermuda or a glacier cruise is Alaska. The European cruising season varies. Depending on the area, cruising dates range from March to December. You may cruise the Mediterranean from April through November. Greek islands and Canary Islands cruises run from March to December. Northern Europe and Baltic cruises only operate from May to October. Alaska has a very short cruising season. Cruising takes place from May to September only. June through August is the most popular times to cruise Alaska. These are the warmest months. Cruisers will be able to sight see with ease. Bermuda cruises operate from April through November. This is considered Bermuda’s high season. The summer months are the most expensive, but they are often the only beach months. Other months, are often too chilly for water activities. New England and Canada offer sailing from May through October. Of course, the summer months will have more ideal vacation weather. Fall sailings are popular with nature lovers.
