Cure Panic Attacks At Home

It is possible to take cure panic attacks at home, but you must always be careful that you are not confusing the symptoms you are experiencing with another, more serious medical condition, such as a heart attack. 2. Gently, you can steadily tense and relax all of the muscles in your body. For example, take a deep breath in and tighten the muscles in your left leg. Hold this for a few seconds, then relax those muscles and breathe out. Now you can move onto the next leg, and repeat the pattern again, followed by both arms.

3. You can also attempt to slow your breathing down. Do this by breathing out each breath in the same way you blow a candle out - through pursed lips. You can also put your hands on your chest and feel how rapid your breathing is, allowing yourself further control over your panic symptoms.

4. Keep on reminding yourself that you are not going mad. Don't forget, this panic attack is not going to kill you. Even if you think you can't breathe, chances are that you can, it's just the panic that is making you think like that. If you can still talk, then you can definitely still breathe.
