A comparable alternative is to buy old ink cartridges that have been refurbished. They too can save you a lot of money but you might not find a company that you're happy with right off the bat. If you don't want to resort to imitations and still want to save money, you can buy brand name ink in high volume from a large seller. Top sellers stock up in bulk and often get money-off their large orders. This enables them to give bigger price cuts to customers.

Buying laser ink cartridges in bulk is a good idea, even if you get through ink fairly slowly. Brand name cartridges usually come packaged in sealed bags. This gives ink cartridges a long shelf life without affecting quality or performance. Additionally, large companies often do monthly offers to get you even more for your cash.
