Cydcor Makes Donation To Aid Earthquake Survivors
Saddened by the devastation Spokesperson for Cydcor, Senior Vice President of Operations Vera Quinn, stated that whole company felt the tragedy that had hit Haiti and were overwhelmed with a desire to help the small country. Employees of the company brought in first aid supplies as well as men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and shoes to send to the earthquake survivors. Company had prior connections Making donations efforts even easier was the fact that one of the Cydcor employees already had connections in Haiti. The owner of one of Cydcor’s independently owned and operated sales offices had spent time in Haiti working with Haiti Gospel Mission. The owner was able to relay information from the charitable organization back to Cydcor, allowing them to identify the area of need and where they could help. Cydcor is not planning on leaving it to a one-time donation either. The company has made Haiti Gospel Mission a part of the family, and plans to continue offering support as they are able to. Outreach is a way of life Even prior to the earthquake in Haiti Cydcor made it a priority to help others. The culture of the company is centered on volunteering and community outreach. Thanks to this, employees were more than happy to step up and fill boxes to send to the impoverished country.
