It is always so tricky to get to know a person that you are dating. You need to have things to talk about together if you are really going to enjoy a date.
However, when you have not known each other for long this can be hard. The fact is you don't know what to talk about many times. A great way to solve this is to make up some questions to use to keep the conversation going.
When there is a hush that falls between you and your date ask a question that takes an involved answer, not just yes or no. The right questions and can begin a very enjoyable two-way conversation.
The exchange of thoughts, ideas and facts about your lives helps you know each other on a more intimate level. This does not mean you carry around a list of questions in paper form. Just have the questions in your mind to draw from during the date.
1. Where do you want your life to be in 20 years? This should provoke an in-depth answer. You can also explain where you see your own in 2 years. This is a good conversation starter.
2. What stresses do you have in your job that you would like to see change? This is something else that you can share about your life too.
3. Have you ever had a life threatening disease? If so, what was it and how did you get through it? This is another question that requires a detailed answer.
4. What kind of exercise do you like to do, working out or do an activity? What benefits do you get from this?
5. What role does money play in your life? Do you think money is everything, or do you just want enough to pay your bills?

Try to make sure that the questions need a conversational-type answer. Remember that you are trying to get the conversation going and keep it going. Your date is to have fun and you need to remember that with these questions. Stay away from too controversial of subjects.
