Deal Or No Deal?

Have you ever watched the television program called Deal or No Deal? I have been watching it, whenever I can, for the last few months now and I have to say, however sad it may sound, that it is probably my favourite program on the t.v at present. There is not much competition at the moment as most of the other programs on view are quite poor, even the soaps are not really keeping me entertained at the moment, bring back Phil and Grant I say!

The British version of the program is on channel four at about half past four and is hosted by Noel Edmonds. Even though I do love the show there are a number of ways in which I think it could be improved:

1. The time that the show is on is not ideal, I am normally out at half past four in the afternoon on a weekday, as I am sure most people are due to work etc.

2. The program could probably be reduced by amount fifteen minutes with less adverts perhaps.

3. I think in this day and age, the prize money should be increased to a maximum payout of a million pounds from the current amount of two hundred and fifty thousand pounds.

I watched a recent show where the contestant was left with a chance of either winning one hundred thousand pounds or just one thousand pounds. The banker then offered him £35000, if I remember rightly, to leave there and then. The contestant was unsure for a while but then stated to Noel that he was now ready to be asked the question, deal or no deal? Noel duly asked him, to which the reply was, no deal. I admired the guys bravery but £35000 is such a huge amount of money, especially compared with just £1000.

Noel eventually opened up the contestants box to reveal that he had only won £1000. I could not believe it and felt quite sorry for the chap.
