Decisions Can Be Made Without Influence
The first tough decision we'll have to make in our life is probably after our secondary education. This is the time where we'd have to bid goodbye to our some childhood friends, friends we've grown up with, friends who've been alongside for most of our life up until this moment. Some of us might tend to follow their friends, taking the path chosen by the crowd. This situation depicts the beauty of peer influence. In a democratic society, the majority is definitely right, right? As much as we hate this path, some of us might feel very much in need of company, company which is able to put our fears at rest for the time being. We might regret the choices we've made along our life, but certainly not as much as choices made for us or ones with heavy influence from the people surrounding us. After all, we've been preparing all our lives in order to make the right decisions in our future, the moment we leave our nest. Humans are very opinionated, especially our family and friends. No matter what the choice we make, there are bound to be thoughts and opinions against us. Though these views may seem harmless, their influence might affect our judgment. Opinions should remain as mere suggestions; the final decision should always be made by none other than ourselves.
