Demolish Your To-do List In Mere Minutes
For instance, you can often get tasks done while you're waiting in line for something else. Perhaps you have a few minutes to wait for a doctor's appointment in the lobby; this would be a good time for you to make out a shopping list. Or while you are riding on the bus or train to work you have a few extra minutes to pay some bills. The things you can do in just a few minutes of time are practically endless, and it would be virtually impossible to list them all. However, to stimulate some ideas, here is a short list of things you can do in small bits of time: Some things you can do in five minutes: -file your fingernails -water your houseplants -check your voicemail -return a phone call -send a quick text message -schedule an appointment -make out a shopping list -sew on a button What you can do in 10 minutes: -read your e-mails -write a letter or e-mail to a friend -make a post on your Social Network Site – i.e. Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc. -buy a birthday card -hem a pair of pants What you can do in 30 minutes: -exercise -vacuum the floors -dust a couple of rooms -polish your silverware -work on a crafts project -edit your digital photos -clear out your cluttered e-mail inbox As you can see, these are just a few examples of things you can get done in small chunks of time. Don't get stressed out by the size of your list. Work through your list as you find a little time here and there and you will make progress throughout the day. You will find as you chip away at these small tasks one-by-one much of your to do list will be done before you know it.
