Do you ever wonder, while crunching Cookie Crisp, if your neighbor is enjoying a more classy breakfast? Craving a more fashionable and luxurious start to the day? Let something as simple as Cereal Couture inspire you to revamp your food jars via a fresh CPS Design decoration.

Today I'm sending a special tribute and shout out to a lady after my own heart, Sip, Chat, Chow's, The Glam Foodie, in honor of her quest to find a hint of refinement in the mundane. And where a stitch of elegance is nowhere to be found, she encourages people to have a little fun, with the intent of creating a new vision for their products. Not without a little help from here and there, of course.

Classy Cereals. What kind of messages do consumers intercept as they walk down the cereal aisle? Carefree, happy and energized feelings, right? These concepts are established and transmitted through brand management. Think for a moment if things were different. What if cereals were sold as luxury products only available to exclusive audiences? Here's a few examples from Cereal Couture, the Glam Foodie's take on the subject.

What do you get when you combine brightly colored, sugar-coated loops that sport fruit flavors with a fancy, top-of-the-line couture empire? Gucci Loops. Not exactly a match up most people would think of. Both Fruit Loops and Gucci radiate specific ideals and characteristics to consumers, all done through their well constructed brands. It's easy to see that an intricately designed, luxury cereal would be perceived differently than other light and fun cereal brands. Be sure to decorate your food jars in a way that agrees with your brand identity.

Coco Chanel - Chocolate Cheerios meet Chanel. Chocolate or not, Cheerios are supposed to wholesome and good, available to anyone and everyone. Not a scare product only within reach of the wealthy. Most ladies love a good handbag, but it's easy to see that these two brands don't mix. Keep this example in mind when planning decoration for your food jars.

Louis Vuitton Charms (Lucky Charms + Louis Vuitton) - Forget Lucky Charms, these are the kind of charms I'm talking about! The sugar covered stuff may be sweet, but Louis Vuitton charms are blingin'. Thanks to the branded image of merit and international, luxurious success, which charm cereal do you think most consumers would be after?

Design food jars to carry your brand. Food jars should be branded with conviction focused on the authentic purpose and drive behind your own product. Food jars don't have to scream luxury and affluent living; your brand is the highest and purest reflection of your product's intention, whatever it may be.
