With everything going up in price these days I have begun to shop more and more online. In particular I have begun to shop more online for my designer’s tees. I have found on many occasions that shopping online when compared to my local high street or mall has worked out much cheaper. With the sole reason that good are much cheaper online I have quickly grown to become an online shopper.
When shopping in your local high street or shopping mall you almost always need a car. This initially cost a lot of money to buy and adds further costs with petrol and maintenance. You then have to drive your car to town and park it, which again, costs money. If you haven’t got a car you would usually use public transport such as a car, train or taxi, which again costs a lot of money. With online shopping there is no travel costs, which proves my first point that shopping online is cheaper.
Secondly if one looks at the prices in the high street in comparison to online shops, you will notice that designer tees are usually lower. With online shopping being a new venture, online shops have to entice buys to shop online rather than stores. This is why many online stores sell their designer’s tees at a lower price. Another reason for this is because online stores have a much wider catchment area then shops do. For instance, a shop in your high street will have a catchment area of the surrounding area, whereas a online shop has a potential catchment area of the whole world. By following this basis, it is possible to see that online shops have the power to reduce their prices because they may be busier then the high street stores.
Further reasons why online shops are cheaper are because they have very few overheads. Such as a high street store would have to pay high rents, and wages to staff and cover any stolen goods. With online stores, goods do not have to be displayed; they can be kept in boxes and sent when requested. With all these different factors adding together it is possible to see why it is much cheaper to shop online for your designers tees.
Online stores are also able to sell designer tees at a lower price because they specialize in just designer tees and therefore buy on a much basis then high street stores which would usually sell many different types of clothing’s. By buying in such huge bulks online designers tees stores can undercut high street stores.
From this it is possible to see why it is financially better to shop online rather go to your high street for you designer tees. With online stores undercutting shops because of their bulk buying and worldwide status it is clear to see that shopping online is the way forward, especially in regards to your designer tees.
