Desperate For Cash? Here Is A Quick And Simple Way To Earn Money
Everyone who has heard of the Internet probably knows about Amazon, the huge online retailer of books, electronics, and just about everything else. But did you know you can make money from Amazon without selling anything? Amazon launched a service in 2005 called “Mechanical Turk” (or “Mturk” for short). The idea behind Mturk is that businesses post a request to have a small, simple task completed. A “worker” (you) completes the task in exchange for money. Here’s how it works in more detail: * A requestor posts a task known as a “Human Intelligence Task” (or “HIT”) on the Mturk site. * A worker works on the task and submits an answer. * The requestor reviews and accepts the completed work. * The worker receives payment. Does this sound too good to be true? Are you wondering what the “catch” is? There really isn’t a “catch” per se. But one thing to keep in mind is the HIT amounts typically are not very big. For example, one HIT asks people to write a short review of an item. It pays .21 cents for each review you complete. If you wrote 10 reviews, you would earn $2.10. However, some Mturk HITs may pay as much as $5.00 so it is possible to earn more. Also, some HITs will pay a bonus if you do quality work. Other types of HITs you could work on include giving your opinion, answering trivia, and providing feedback on your shopping experiences. Signing up as a ‘worker’ at Mturk is free. The advantages of being a ‘worker’ are you can work from home, you choose your own hours, and you get paid for your work. As you can see, Amazon’s Mechanical Turk is a great way to quickly make a few extra dollars. It isn’t difficult and it actually can be a fun way to make money. To get started, go to mturk.com and register as a Worker. Good luck!
