Digg Madness

Almost 24 hours ago the cypher for HD-DVDs was made public. And as any other major news this hit Digg really soon after it was released on the Internet. But this is against Digg's policy and Digg admins started banning users, offering only this official statement as excuse. This started one of the biggest 'online riot' I've ever seen, users against 'the system".

As people considered that Digg was restraining they're freedom of speech, they started posting all kinds of articles (as you can see here ) in order to promote the encryption key and make a statement against Digg moderation.

In other words I really think this is a turning point for Digg, and a hard one too, as all kinds of allegations are made.

All in all I don't think Digg will fall but rivers of digital ink will flow on this matters in hours to come.
