Many people believe that one is crazy to invest in a Direct sales company. These thoughts are amazingly strong from people who have no idea whatsoever about the business model. To an uniformed person the common thought is that it is a "pyramid scheme".

Skepticism Is something I encourage in any online venture, however when one refuses to look at a business model based on hear say, which then paralyzes them from even getting first hand information, then they are doing themselves a big disservice.

It is now common knowledge, that direct sales opportunities is now responsible for more self made millionaires, than any other industry on the planet, so I guess it naturally puts it self in the "you must be crazy" arena, being as one is conditioned to live in mediocrity.

Although the direct sales industry has been around for a while, there is still no mention of it in our state schools and colleges,this in turns causes people's alarm bells to sound at the mere mention of its name.

How Sad is that?

A direct sales opportunity is normally a high ticket program, ranging any where from $500 to $10,000, with commissions ranging from anywhere between 50 and 75 per cent.

What also makes direct selling a very attractive business model is,the different compensation plans, these plans allows one not only to leverage other peoples time, but also their money and unknown to the skeptics, is how practically every millionaire has attained their wealth, through the power of "leverage".

Take heed before investing into a direct sales opportunity.

The foundation that drives a direct selling company to success,is the ability to market correctly, I would therefore advice that one learn how to generate ones own leads via basic marketing techniques,before one splashes out 1k to 10k on a direct selling business,which will often entice you to buy first then learn how to market afterwards. That in my opinion, makes no sense whatsoever and is why so many people fail.
