Dispelling Myths About Dating A Younger Woman

Older men are often intrigued by the prospect of dating a younger woman and it's easy to understand why. Younger women tend to be more attractive and are more open to new ideas and enjoining new adventures. This freshness and vigor are traits welcomed by an older guy.

Sometimes, feelings of apprehension may accompany thoughts of dating a younger woman, but they are needless. Some delimiting ideas need to be expunged:

Myth #1 – A young woman would never consider going out with an older man.

Fact – Older gentlemen, with their maturity and experience, come across as very sexy to young women. Control of self, self-confidence, maturity, regal calm, are the keywords.

It's unseemly to behave like a kid, she won't be turned on by that. A young woman can find obnoxious young men if that's what she wants. She wants maturity.

You've survived the slings and arrows of the years. When she looks to you she sees the calmness and the surety you carry.

Myth #2 – Age difference is the main problem when dating a younger woman.

Fact – If you want to make the age difference an issue, you can. She knows you're older, she wants to be with a mature guy. Don't let notions of impropriety dispel your image of confidence and maturity, the very things she's looking for.

Forget about such worries, let be what is happening. Enjoy. Love is what love is. It has no solid definition. Embrace it.

Myth #3 – She's looking for Daddy Bigbucks.

Fact – Many people wrinkle their noses in a knowing fashion when they see a younger woman on the arm of a man. The truth be known, that young woman usually has a thousand things other than money on her mind. She wants an introduction into an adult world with maturity and class. She's been to one too many frat party.

Don't worry that others may nod knowingly if you pick up the dinner tab. Sure, it's the 21st century and women have been liberated, but so what. She may very well want to pay occasionally, just as she has when going out with a guy her own age – the starving artist, the struggling student – but you're so much more than that to her.

She doesn't want you to become a sugar daddy, so don't. But you can pick up the tab when you see fit.

Self-confidence and a new vigor can be won by dating a younger woman. There's no reason to not avail yourself should the opportunity arise. Your life is in your hands, not in those of society, or stereotypes, or silly notions. Mold it as you see best. You have one life on this earth. If part of that life involves a younger woman, why cast it off? Enjoy!
