The mattresses are usually constructed with an inner high density foam component and have reinforced edges so that individuals cannot roll off the bed while sleeping.

The more sophisticated adjustable beds come with dual adjustable massage capabilities. Although adjustable beds are primarily geared towards the elderly, it is not uncommon today to find these types of beds in the homes of chronically ill or disabled individuals as well as people who are confined to long periods of bed rest.

Prices on adjustable beds will vary from one brand to the next. One name brand company builds two different models – a standard and an upgrade. Depending on the type of mattress you purchase, the prices will vary. However, you need to consider your budget and requirements before you actually purchase the bed.
