Do You Know An Idiot That's An Internet Business Success?

The world is full of idiots. And many are successful business owners. But after having coached many online business owners, I know they wonder why they don't have a successful Internet business even though they consider themselves smart.

Do you know why people not as smart as you are becoming raging successes in their Internet businesses? It may have something to do with the huge amount of information available online. Sure you can learn a lot, but you can get confused at the same time from the sheer volume.

Don't take the really important parts of building an Internet business lightly. Many people make the mistake of thinking it's all about learning. Taking in as much information as they possibly can.

1) Just Do It - It's simple. Doers generally succeed and people that are stuck learning generally do not. Taking in too much information can bog you down and prevent you from taking any action that will grow your Internet business.

Compare this state of information overload with with wildly successful Internet business owners. They know they need the right information, too. But they learn, then do. They are not stuck in an endless loop of gathering. And they don't let fear of failure stand in their way. And they surely aren't looking for the magic key to success that some people think will come with the next piece of information.

You may be in just such a situation. Here's what you do... Get straight on what needs to be done and do it. Start with what you must do first and don't be concerned with future tasks. And don't waste time taking in more information just in case.

2) Rising Above Your Fears and Doubts - You have to get far enough above your doubts to keep working or you're doomed. What works for me is to forget it all. And the easiest way to do that is to get lost in a project. Experience will always be your best teacher. When it comes to Internet business, you are going to make mistakes. We all do. Even the Intels, Microsofts, and Googles of the world misstep from time to time. The trick is to learn from your mistakes. Just do your best to limit your risk, focus every day, keep trying, learn what works and don't torture yourself when you take a wrong turn. Just notice it, learn from it and change your approach.

3) Don't Overcomplicate Things - Remember the KISS principle. Don't make a task more difficult than it really is. If you don't follow this advice, you too can get caught up in an Internet business that is totally overwhelming. I've seen it a lot. And there's no need for it.

See, really successful Internet business owners do the opposite of what most people do. They don't get caught up with these things. If you try taking on way too much regularly, you won't get far. Spreading yourself too thinly will never compensate for working harder or having more knowledge or intelligence.

4) Find Out Where The Money Is Flowing - This part is essential for a thriving Internet busness. This process takes a good bit of time, but you must find out the hot spots of your market. Notice what's going on in the market and be aware of what the market wants. Then find out who's buying and who's selling the products they want. Know that you know how to tap into the money...

The second step is to do your best to understand WHY it's hot. Until you understand your market on a deeper level, you'll keep scratching your head wondering why you are making less than your dumber Internet business counterparts. The good news is that once you get it - when you really understand the psychology of your market your results will improve immediately in all the marketing you do.
