Does Diet Play A Role In Acne?

Ask any medical practitioner if the foods you eat can cause acne and some doctors will insist there isn’t a connection. So, how can we argue with these statistics when the medical association makes these claims that what we eat does not produce skin problems?

The easy solution is to question it! Since recent findings have revealed there’s a significant acne and diet correlation. It appears that consuming a bad diet is regarded as one of the sources to having skin problems.

There are several factors that contribute to the cause of breakouts and the foods you eat are just one of them. However, implementing a nutritious diet, in some cases, blemishes can actually lessen and at times completely disappear. Although, this may occur, it is only because acne is brought about by food reactions.

Here’s an interesting fact; numerous acne sufferers have claimed their blemishes become more irritated when they’ve consumed a certain diet. Still, their skin heals once those foods have been eliminated.

What we consume is stored in our cells and eventually reveals itself as skin irritations. Therefore, we should change our poor eating habits of milk, white sugars and oily foods and add a nutritious diet of fresh fruit, green leafy veggies, as well as EFA’s, and don’t forget to include eight glasses of water daily, all this will help get rid of the toxins.

Generally speaking, if you are serious about clearing up your acne, think about changing your food choices. You never know, you might just be one of those people who have a food reaction and that small change may get rid of your acne once and for all.
