Dog Parvo Sypmtoms

Although dog parvo symptoms can be easy to spot you should never wait to see them before you take the correct measures!

Parvo, or parvovirus, is a canine viral disease that is very common, especially in the USA, even though immunization is now widespread. It is not airborne, as many believe, but resides in the droppings of other dogs! Dog parvo symptoms are very specific.

Parvo attacks the lining of a dog's stomach. Adult dogs can contract parvo but very young dogs are most at risk as the disease thrives in the dividing cells of the growing pup. Since in the early '80s the disease has mutated many times. However, dog parvo symptoms remain identical and can be spotted easily.

Dog Parvo Symptoms:
Fever, depression, lethargy, vomiting and diarrhoea are all part of dog parvo symptoms. In most occasions the diarrhoea will include blood from the dog's stomach. Loss of appetite and a watery stool that smells foul are also dog parvo symptoms that indicate the presence of the disease.

Effective Treatment:
Even if you see no dog parvo symptoms you should treat the dog. Many veterinarians suggest you start to vaccinate your pup from 6 weeks until it is 20 weeks. Vaccinate every 3 or 4 weeks. Even if your animal shows no dog parvo symptoms you should give it the proper treatment and vaccination as soon as possible. A vaccination and treatment product that is 100% natural will give the animal no side-effects like the one listed below.

Preventive Steps:
This disease is easily transmitted through anyone or anything that comes into contact with infected faeces. It is commonly carried on shoes and the tires of vehicles. Dog parvo symptoms can take between 7 to 10 days before they are visible. Don't wait until you see dog parvo symptoms before you act! Take preventative measures. This virus is tough and can resist most common cleaning fluids and disinfectants. It can exist outside a dog for many months! Use a good Parvo Killing Disinfectant and clean everywhere in your dog's environment.

This disease only affects canines. If you believe another animal is showing signs of dog parvo symptoms rest assured that it does not have parvo although you should get the animal to a vet.
