Don't Click On Your Own Google Ads
You join the Google Adsense programme, get a tiny bit of code to paste into your site, and that’s basically it, easy isn’t it? The code contains the ads that visitors see on your site, and more importantly, it contains your unique Google Adsense membership number, which automatically tracks any clicks made to your Google ads and pays cash into your account. The clever thing about Google Adsense is that the Google software scans your site content and automatically matches your site content to Google ads. For instance if your site was all about antique watches, the ads would all be relevant to antique watches…how cool is that. Payments are small, but, a high number of visitors to your site can generate a worthwhile amount of extra income for very little work. IMPORTANT DO NOT click on your own ads, Google can track the clicks made on your ads, you might well get away with making the odd click, which by the way, you won’t get paid for anyway, but a sustained effort of clicks on your own ads will get your account closed down for life, so be warned.
