These effective management systems are also designed with convenience in mind, allowing for continuous upgrades whenever the situation calls for it, which is far more efficient and convenient than having to purchase a different e-learning management system every time there is a need and then having it installed and implemented by the training department. The age of the internet has made upgrades an almost continuous phenomenon, consigning supposed “solutions” that cannot upgrade and update online to obsolescence. This ability to effectively upgrade also adds to the learning management system’s ROI factor, since it is practically the same product, only made continuously better through a series of upgrades. The overall infrastructure of an effective e-learning system should also be very manageable, able to easily learned and operated by both the trainer and the learner, otherwise the entire point of the exercise is moot, since the both the learner and the trainer will spend more time trying to learn their way around the e-learning solution and how to operate it rather than the actual learning modules themselves.
