Earning An Income Online Requires Education

Writing articles is not a task I can honestly say that I do very often. The major reasons for my reluctance to write articles is twofold. The first reason is that in order to have any motivation at all about taking the time to write an article is that I have to truly believe in the content of what I am writing about. The second reason is that if I believe in the content, an article can't offer enough space to write about all of the things I want to say about the topic.

Nevertheless, I am writing this article about the importance of finding a good teaching site if you want to properly learn how to earn an income online.......just like you'd want the best school if you wanted to become an architect or a quantum physicist. But the primary reason for writing it is to let you understand that until I took the initiative to find and join a quality membership site, my attempts at trying to earn anything online were abysmal.

Now, online marketing is a pretty broad term that covers a plethora of techniques and know-how, but there seems to be one recurring theme that I find runs throughout the IM arena and that is "BUILDING A LIST". Now when you think of it, brick and mortar businesses do the same things to both attract and keep customers. They keep in contact with them on some kind of basis through direct mail, flyers and of course email. But in the IM world, list building and email is the only method used to keep in contact with your customers.

Until I understood how important it is to grow a list, I had very limited success trying to earn any money online. I did get a few sales here and there, but knowing that those "one-of" sales were from people that I could never contact again, I realized I was missing a big opportunity.

It wasn't until about six months ago that I stumbled upon a membership site where "BUIDING A LIST" was virtually the site's mission statement. And while I took the low-cost trial period with some skepticism, I found that the site was so chock-full of benefits, including free hosting, that it became obvious that I had found the answer to almost every question I had about IM. There's a great forum where every question I have posted on any aspect of IM was given an answer that exceeded my expectations.

Not only was I overwhelmed with the benefits and support, but much to my delight I found out that the site had the distinction of being "The Number One Internet Marketing Service" by IM Report Card. And what those free benefits I got before even joining? Well they included a couple of excellent ebooks and a 26 part video course.

So without a doubt, if you really want to learn the fundamentals as well as the advanced techniques required to earn an income online, I urge you to look around at some of the quality membership sites where you can soak up the knowledge that is there for the taking. And if the site offers free hosting, once you have 3 or 4 sites up and running, the cost is an absolute zero.
