Easy Ways To Lose Weight After Giving Birth

After giving birth, women are usually too tired from caring for a newborn that they don't have enough energy for most things, including exercise. This means that it isn't very likely that you will visit a gym or even go outside for walking or running. Plus, new babies require their mothers to be by their sides almost all of the time. So, not only do you need to find the motivation for exercise, you need to find the time to take it on. The good news is that this article will talk about three exercises that will help you lose weight quickly and that you can do all from your home while your baby is sleeping. What could be more convenient than that?

Latin Dancing: Latin style dancing will have two effects when you use it in your attempts to lose your pregnancy weight. Latin dancing enables you to feel sexier as you swing those hips, tap those feet and roll those shoulders as you burn calories. You will be able to learn a few latin moves from online videos or workout dvd's. This can be extremely fun to workout this way and best of all you won't even feel like you are working out at all. You are more likely to keep doing it because it's fun.

Bridge Squeeze: To do this exercise, lie on your back while bending your knees but keeping your feet flat on the floor. Place a pillow between your knees and draw your abs in. Take a breath in and then let it back out again while you tighten your posterior muscles and raise your hips to make a straight line with your body. Squeeze the pillow for the count of two, then lower your hips. Do three sets of ten.

Air Bike: For this post-natal exercise, begin with your back flat on the ground and raise your opposite arm and leg at the same time and touch your elbow to your opposite knee. Repeat back and forth on each side. This is a great ab strengthener and calorie burner, two things that are important to women who have had babies.

If your weight makes you unhappy after you have your baby, you'll need to do something about that. You'll be glad to know that these tips are easy enough to do whenever or where ever you want to do them. Just make sure that you do proper warm ups and cool downs before and after each exercise routine. There are plenty more tips out there that will help you lose the weight, but the three tips above will get you off to a great start.
