Ebook-eight Steps To Set Up An Email Auto Responder Series

Feeling overwhelmed with setting up your email auto responder series? Following this easy method, you will be able to create an entire series in an afternoon, no matter how large an auto responder campaign you're planning. This method will work even if it's for only an individual email or if it's for a series, for an ecourse, or for an email workshop.

Treat your auto responders as if you were creating another information product. Follow the same time-saving steps you've already learned to create an information product in an afternoon.

Following are eight steps for creating your auto responder series.

1. Decide how many individual auto responders you want in your series. It may be a series that will be sent out every day, once a week, once a month. You decide.

2. Prepare an outline of your series. It doesn't need to be extensive. Jot down a word or two that will jog your memory.

3. Have available any other material you might need to refer to, such as your sales letter and/or your product.

4. Record each email following your outline. You can use a hand-held recorder, telephone call-in, or record directly to your computer. If you have your business set up to outsourc, at this point you will turn the project over to your VA. He/she will then be able to complete the rest of the steps.

5. Transmit the audio to your favorite transcription service.

6. When the Word document is returned, some editing might be necessary.

7. Load the emails into your auto responder software and set the time and date you want them to be distributed.

8. You may want to use the audio as well as the transcript for your emails. In that case, you may need to edit the audio portion.

If you aren't routinely recording your information products, you might find dictating awkward at the beginning until you become accustomed to it. Practice will get you over this awkwardness and the time you will save is more than worth the time spent learning.

With your outline and the sales letter in front of you, you will be amazed at how easy and how fast you will be able to create a series of auto responders.
