Ebook Information Product: Spontaneous Combustion
Ever been sitting around a lunch or dinner table, or at a meeting with colleagues and somebody will start on a problem about the business which needs to be solved. Suddenly everybody is brainstorming; ideas are flowing like lava from a volcano. Finally, somebody will say, "Too bad we don't have a recorder to record this." Yes, too bad. That can happen at a family dinner as well. Somebody brings up a subject and then everybody is piping in with his or her version of what happened. These types of conversations usually start with "Remember when ....." And somebody will say, "Too bad we don't have a recorder to record this." I call these happenings spontaneous combustion. If you were to plan it, you could make it happen with no one else being the wiser. The difference is that you would be prepared and you would have a digital recorder in order to record the conversation and immortalize the discussion. Most digital recorders are very small. They will fit in a purse or a pocket. They're lightweight, weighing less than 5 oz. You wouldn't even be aware you were carrying it around with you. If you wanted to be sneaky and get someone who might be nervous talking, you could even conceal it in your pocket and still pick up the recording. Keep in mind that it is illegal to record without the knowledge of the person being recorded, so be careful of who you might be recording without their knowledge. If you habitually carried a recorder with you, you could take advantage of these spontaneous combustion conversations.
