Eight Step Formula For Building Opt In Email List

The growth of internet marketing has been phenomenal. The pace at which it grows
has left a lot of people stranded and confused. There are loads of things to learn.
New technology and concepts come up every day and one begins to wonder whether an average Joe / Jane can still join the train.
I’ve got good news for you. It’s not yet too late to join in. All you need is a simple step by step process you can follow to begin to earn profits.

Step 1:
Get a product, be it your own product or other people’s product like Resale rights and affiliate offers. Ensure that it meets the necessary criteria, like seeing to it that there are similar products of high quality in that market that you can promote.
For instance, If you pick a product that teaches website design, make sure that there are other products, you can promote; products affiliate marketers will need. Products like auto responders, list building etc. This will enable you make profits continuously and not just a one shot sale.

Step 2:
Get a website or rather set up a one page website. Make sure the domain name you register is similar to the name of the product you‘re promoting and also very relevant to the market in general.
For instance, If you have picked a product that teaches “how to make money online”, your domain name can be “onlineincome.com
OR
If your website is www.google.com/www.yahoo.com, then your domain name will be google.com or yahoo.com as the case may be.
A domain name will cost you about $8 .95 per year for registration. Just go to google and search for domain name registration, and you will come out with something good.

Step 3:
Lift the headline of the product you want to promote from the merchant’s site.( Do not worry about copyright, as you’re promoting their product, so there shouldn’t be a problem.) That will be the headline of your site as well. Make sure it looks exactly how it looks on the merchant’s site; the colour, fonts, etc. The secret is that the visitor should not know immediately that you are just an affiliate.

Step 4:
Place a subscription / sign up form immediately after the headline. This will enable you collect the email address of the visitor; thus confirming the saying that, “The money is in the List.” Which I’m sure you must have heard severally.
Your auto responder service will provide you with the HTML code, you can copy and paste on your website to generate your subscription box. Ensure that the landing page after the subscription is your affiliate link to the product you’re promoting.

Step 5:
Pick about 3 to 5 bulleted benefits list from the merchant’s site onto your website. The bulleted benefits list is the one that lists features of the product on sale. It usually goes like this…
---How to increase your profit by 300% this time tomorrow.
---3 words you should never use on your website.
---7 sure fire ways to attract visitors to your site in 30 minutes.
I believe you have seen them before. Pick about 3 of them and place them below your subscription box.

Step 6:
Place the subscription box below the list again If you wish. Then place a note informing them, what they ‘ll receive by putting down their name and email address. Assure them that their email address will not be shared or sold.

Step 7:
Configure messages into your autoresponder. The first message should be very crucial because so far the visitor does not know you are an affiliate. The first message the visitor will receive in his inbox delivered by your auto responder will show that you are not the creator of the product, so you must make him recognize you, so he gets to open your emails today and in the future.
Here’s how to go about it:
Assuming you are promoting Ken Evoy’s book, “The Affiliate Master’s Course” in the sender’s name will be your name. In the subject line, your prospects name as well as ken Evoy’s name should appear.
You can say “Bill, have you seen Ken Evoy’s product I talked about?”
Then in the message, you can say;

Hi Bill,
Few minutes ago, you visited my website where I talked about Ken Evoy’s great new product.
I believe you’ve ordered for it, and if you haven’t, may I ask you; What is holding you back?..............

That is a decent way of establishing credibility.

Step 8:
Begin sending follow up messages. Both messages about the initial product you’re promoting as well as other similar products. Messages about the initial product should be between 4 to 8. After those messages, you can send them offer about related products.
That briefly put is the 8 step formula.
The whole idea is to build your opt- in list without stress. It’s important to get it right. You must build your own list. 70 % of affiliates don’t understand this. Finally, with this formula, there is no niche you can not gatecrash into, no matter how competitive any niche is, the 8 step formula will give you an inroad into it.
