Email Marketing And What To Send Your List
Secondly you can prime your auto-responder with a sequence of emails that you have written yourself or paid someone to write. The second option will become more feasible the busier you become, if you tried writing every one yourself you could become overstretched. If you have chosen a good affiliate product they may very well provide you with a series of emails that you can use for that list. The most realistic approach would be to load your emails into your auto-responder campaign and then for your favourite list send out hand written content with each message. Hand written emails will get you better responses from your subscribers, however you will not be able to do it in each of your niches. Your readers will require valuable content and there are marketers who send out sales messages one after the other. These marketers will end up with a high unsubscribe rate and poor sales. You will need to condition your list so they know what to expect from you. Don't be afraid to sell to them in your emails. The best way is to always give them valuable information and use the soft sell technique but occasionally use hard sell. What can work well is if you give them a free gift before sending a sales message, it causes them to feel grateful and they may very well view your sales letter more favourably. If you don't send out sales letters they could be somewhat shocked if all they have received is information and then they see a sales pitch from you. You might very well get a few members unsubscribe. Use the name of your subscriber in both the subject line and in the body of the email. This impresses people as they think it is a personal email written to them personally. Write as though you are speaking face to face. This works out much better than writing in a more formal manner. It puts them at ease and appears much more friendly. Ensure that the subject line catches their interest enough to open the email without it being untrue. Also be honest in what you announce and include in the messages. Be careful with your subject lines because if you get it wrong you will lose subscribers to your list. Remember that your list has specifically requested to receive information from you and you should be in contact regularly. If you don't you are losing money by not contacting your list. It is a valuable asset but you must remember that there is a person at the receiving end of your email. After you have sent an email monitor the results to assess if any have done very well or some have performed poorly. Doing this will improve your emails and help you minimise your unsubscribe rate and increase your sales.
